I first got my Apple Watch in Oct 2017. My son had just turned one and at the time I thought I was at my heaviest.
Right away I was ecstatic. The thought of reaching my goals and closing those rings gave me the push I needed.
I started exercising and tracking my workouts and started to become addictive.
But, I wasn’t in the right frame of mind. I was dealing with a lot. So, my weight began to spiral out of control.
But for some strange reason, I kept trying to close my rings. I wasn’t exercising, but I was a little active. Not enough to make a difference, but enough to close my rings.
Fast word to November 2018 when I restarted my journey for the umpteenth time.
This time I was mentally ready and I had competition.
It was a rush to see me close my rings every day. It was even more satisfying to have my watch suggesting bigger move goals every few weeks because I was just smashing my goal.
My competitive nature along with my watch pushed me to go harder than I’ve ever gone before.
I always set a goal before each workout of how much calories I want to burn, and I always try my best to reach it.
I’m not saying you have to go and buy an Apple Watch, because they are a bit pricey.
But if you want the same effect but at a smaller price tag, there are multiple activity trackers for about $50 or more out there.
You don’t need a watch to lose weight. You just need determination and drive. But use what you can to push you!
Sometimes, we just need something to light the spark inside of us!
Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!
Keep going! If no one else believes in you know that I do. You’ve got this!
Don’t forget to like, comment, share or subscribe! I’m not picky any will do. I would really appreciate it!
