A lot of persons are overwhelmed when it comes to working out. Some persons don’t know where to start and how to start. Others are more concerned with when to workout.
Well, I’m here to help you with this dilemma.
There is not a better time to workout. You can workout whenever you want.
But, there are benefits to working out in the mornings and in the afternoon/night time.
Morning workouts are great for procrastinators like me. I know if I don’t get it done as soon as possible there’s a good chance it won’t get done.
The added benefits of morning workouts are:
-They increase your metabolism
-You may have more energy during your workout
-You may also have more energy during the day
-It helps you to feel accomplished
-Makes you feel happier/Reduces Stress
-Makes you more productive throughout the day
-It gives you mental clarity
-Fasted workouts help with controlling glucose intolerance and insulin resistance. These are usually done in the mornings.
Nighttime workouts also have a lot of benefits. One of the most popular reasons for late workouts is not having to wake up early.
The added benefits of an afternoon/nighttime workout are:
-You’ll sleep more soundly
-It can help relax you from a stressful day
-You may work out harder
-You won’t have to rush through your workouts because of limited time
-You may have more strength and flexibility during your workout
-With very late workouts you’ll find that the gym is very empty and it’s easier to workout
Whether you work out in the mornings or in the nighttime personally I don’t think it matters as long as you workout.
Find what works for you and makes you feel good. If it makes you happy you’ll be consistent, and consistency is key in your weight loss journey.
Outweigh the pros and the cons of each time frames. Try them both then let your body decide.
Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!
