What To Do When You’ve Gained Some Weight Back?

The most dreaded aspect of a weight loss journey is gaining some weight back!

Two things can happen and it’s decided in a split second.

If you do one of them you’ll succeed and if you do the other you will not succeed.

You can either tell yourself okay. I gained some weight. I didn’t gain all the weight back, but this happened.

It’s most likely some water weight and bloat. This isn’t the end of the world. I just need to get back on track and I’ll be just fine.

When you take this route you have taken control of the situation and yourself.

But, if in that instance you think you’re a failure and you begin to berate yourself with negative thoughts then you may spiral out of control.

The difference between winning and quitting is how you deal with a “failure or a step back “.

You’re thoughts play a huge role in this journey. If you can find a positive outlook in a not so positive situation, there will be a positive outcome.

I know I’ve said this many times but most of this journey is a mental journey.

Just do your best to get through each day. As long as you don’t quit you will get to your goal!

Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!

Keep going! If no one else believes in you know that I do. You’ve got this!

  1. ah, so true!!! I could have quit last week which wasn’t as bad as other weeks where I felt perfectly accepting and positive to just carry on! our minds!!! we really do have to battle them sometimes.
