Weight loss can be a very rewarding process in more ways than one.
The excitement of seeing the scale go down week after week.
Or measuring yourself to find out you’ve also lost a ton of inches.
But it doesn’t always happen like this.
Some weeks, yes you read that right. There are some weeks where you’ll hit a plateau or the scale keeps going up and down.
The best way to combat the melancholy of the roller coaster ride that is weight loss is to treat yourself every time you reach a new goal.
You can set it to every five pounds, ten pounds, etc.
The treats don’t have to be huge or expensive.
Since I changed my lifestyles I tend to lean more towards things like exercise equipment like a new resistance bands, new workout clothes, or to try a new protein flavor I had my eye on.
For bigger goals like drop a size, I bought one or two new pair of jeans.
These treats help to keep you motivated and it gives you something to look forward to.
