Are You Just Dieting Or Are You Making A Lifestyle Change?

Before you started your weight loss journey did you decide that you were going on a diet?

Or did you think I need to make a lifestyle change?

The reason why I ask this question is that the way you answer this question can help explain your mindset.

When I tried to lose weight before I always said that I was going on a “diet” or I’m on a “diet”.

Even the word diet itself speaks about the way we eat, when we speak of going on a diet it usually means a short term healthy diet to reach our ultimate goal of losing weight and once we achieve that goal we will return back to our old ways.

This time I decided to make a lifestyle change.

I said to myself this has to be forever. There is no going back because each time I went back I ended up worst off than I started.

So, think about your choices. Think about what you want. Do you want to lose weight for a season?

Or do you want to lose weight and become a healthier you for life?

Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!

Keep going! If no one else believes in you know that I do. You’ve got this!
