Social media has become the new normal. It’s where we catch-up with friends and family. But, it’s also where we get our entertainment.
We sometimes follow a lot of celebrities, Instagram models or fitness models.
Most times we only see a glimpse of their lives, but we tend to compare ourselves with them.
If you find yourself comparing yourself daily and it’s affecting you mentally in a negative way, unfollow that person.
When you’re sad or even depressed it tends to trigger habits such as binge eating.
If you find motivation and positivity then, by all means, continue to follow them.
Losing weight is a mental journey.
You have to be in the right headspace.
So anything or anyone who doesn’t bring you peace shouldn’t be in your life.
Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!
Keep going! If no one else believes in you know that I do. You’ve got this!
