If you’ve ever gone to any supermarket you know how expensive it can be to get just a few items.
Let alone to buy enough groceries to last a week or more.
If you’re trying to eat healthy things can get even more pricey!
But it is possible!
If you’re willing to bargain hunt you’ll definitely be able to eat healthier at a reasonable price!
If you’re someone who loves fresh fruit and veggies you should definitely find the nearest farmers market!
There is always a variety of fresh produce and most of the time they’re organic.
If you don’t mind frozen produce then Walmart’s brand of veggies is very inexpensive!
Their frozen fruit is reasonable also if you need fruit for things like smoothies.
There are a lot of healthy snacks and finds at The Dollar Tree.
Yes, you read that right The Dollar Tree!
I know all of them don’t always carry the same items so you would have to scour your local store, and don’t forget to check the freezers.
Local stores usually have great deals on their produce also, but you would have to check weekly for their deals.
I don’t eat meat but I’ve seen some great deals at Publix on their organic meat. I’ve also found some great deal on their vegan/vegetarian foods. You just need to pay attention to their weekly ad!
This may sound a bit overwhelming or time consuming but your health is important!
Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!
