What To Do When People Say You’re Losing Weight Too Fast

It’s amazing to me that when I initially started gaining weight people would whisper and talk about me, but never say anything to me.

Very few persons ever mentioned my weight to my face.

I knew they sometimes made fun of me and said mean and hurtful things, but never once did anyone say, “Slow down. You’re losing weight way too fast!”

I actually wished they did. Maybe I would have gotten an awakening sooner.

But the irony of it all is that now that I’m doing my best to eat healthier and exercise I’ve gotten a lot of comments on what I should do!

“Don’t lose any more weight!”

“Omg, you’re starting to look sick!”

“You’re losing weight way too fast!”

“I’d stop there if I were you!”

There is so much more I’ve heard but they aren’t important!

Honestly, I don’t care for any of these comments because when I truly needed intervention I didn’t receive it.

What I have done is listen to my body and my doctor. This. Isn’t. A. Diet!

I’m trying to live a healthy lifestyle and therefore I’m trying to get to a healthy weight.

A lot of weight-associated illnesses run in my family and I don’t want to be a part of that statistic!

So do what works for YOU! Ignore everyone else!

Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!

Keep going! If no one else believes in you know that I do. You’ve got this!
