There is a feeling I never expected to feel with weight loss and that was guilt!
It’s kind of hard to explain the guilt to a person who has never been overweight but I can try to help you to understand my train of thought!
I feel guilt because I feel like I’ve left the old me behind!
Like I’ve lost her and I’m mourning her.
I also feel guilty for persons that I started the journey with and they’re struggling more than me.
I know it’s not my fault or their fault.
We all have our own struggles and journeys and I shouldn’t feel guilty for doing my best, but I do!
The craziest thing I’ve felt guilty about and I still don’t understand why is my progress pictures.
This is just one of the mental hurdles that are accompanied by your weight loss journey.
Remember that weight loss doesn’t fix your mental health!
Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!
Keep going! If no one else believes in you know that I do. You’ve got this!
