How People Treat You When You Lose Weight

I never thought about the treatment I got when I was bigger.

It never even crossed my mind to tell you the truth.

I felt like I was there, almost invisible.

But, honestly, I didn’t mind it at all.

I’m a natural introvert!

I don’t like a lot of attention and I don’t like crowds!

Now that I’m smaller I’ve noticed simple things have changed and it’s actually kind of disturbing.

People smile at you.

Hold the door open for you.

They try to catch your eye to maybe smile or say hi.

I truly don’t know if this is a figment of my imagination or this new found treatment is real.

A person’s size shouldn’t shape the way you treat them.

We’re all human dealing with our own issues and kindness goes a long way!

Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!

Keep going! If no one else believes in you know that I do. You’ve got this!

Also, I started a podcast. I’d appreciate it if you’d check it out and also share it with your friends! It would mean the world to me! Click Here to listen!

Don’t forget to like, comment, share, or subscribe! I’m not picky any will do. I would really appreciate it!

  1. Great insights, I think prejudices go deeper than people admit, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if what you experience now is different to before.
