Rest days are just as important as workout days.
Rest days gives the muscles that you tear during strength training a chance to repair itself.
Also, I’ve learned that if you don’t take a willing rest day, your body will eventually force you to take one.
I know sometimes it’s hard to just take a break especially when you’re trying to get to your goals, but not resting will help get you there faster.
When you begin to burn out you will also lose motivation and begin to go down in a spiral.
Rest rejuvenates your mind and your body!
It’s okay to take a break! This is a reminder not only to you but to myself!
Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!
Keep going! If no one else believes in you know that I do. You’ve got this!
