Remember Why You Started Your Weight Lost Journey

Sometimes we get wrapped up in the high that we get from watching the scale go down, that we forget to celebrate other valuable victories.

Like walking up a flight of stairs and not feeling like you’re about to pass out.

Or fitting into your favorite pair of jeans and not having your circulation cut off.

Being able to go into a restaurant and not having to assess the tables and booths to see if you will be able to fit.

Sometimes we get wrapped up in the hype that we take these victories for granted.

You must remember you didn’t go on this journey just to see the scale go down.

You went on this journey for your health. So, that you can live a long and healthy life. So that you can experience life and not just exist.

Yes, the scale is an important tool but it’s not the only tool that can measure your progress!

Remember the first step is trying and the next step is not giving up when things get hard!

Keep going! If no one else believes in you know that I do. You’ve got this!
